BMAT are looking for enthusiastic volunteers, interested in schools and education, to join our Local Governing Boards.
Why become a school governor?
Use your experience and expertise to help the school improve learning for local children.
Receive training in safeguarding, GDPR and child protection issues.
Expand your own experience of governance.
What is involved?
Attend school governing body meetings during the school year.
Visit the school 3 times per school year.
Encourage positive teamwork between the governing body and the school .
